I’ve been asked to write the biography of my friend’s husband, a survivor of Iraq who was seriously injured when a bomb exploded beside him.
After several surgeries to repair his shattered back, he can WALK.
The project begins next summer once I’m done with grad school. I’m the definition of “stoked.”
